The Disappearance of Jasmine Purvis

29 year old Jasmine Purvis was last seen in Jackson, Mississippi on December 3, 2020. She disappeared after telling her grandfather to come pick her up.

Disappearance

On December 3, 2020, Jasmine Purvis was last seen in the 1100 block of Carnation Street in Jackson, Mississippi. She called her grandfather, asking him to come pick her up.

Within a fifteen minute span she called her grandfather multiple times, asking him to hurry. By the time he arrived, she was gone.

Her boyfriend told the grandfather than she had found another ride. The grandfather tried calling Jasmine a few times but got no answer, when he called the third time her phone had been shut off.

Jasmine was last seen leaving in a dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV driven by an unidentified black male. She hasn’t been seen since.

On December 5, 2020, Jasmine was reported missing by family members.

Investigation

A few weeks prior to her disappearance, Jasmine’s friend was murdered. She was an eyewitness in the case, and the vehicle seen leaving the crime scene is the same vehicle Jasmine was seeing leaving in. 

Appearance

Black female with short hair and brown eyes (hair color at the time of her disappearance is unknown). Jasmine stands 5’4 tall and weighs 210 pounds. Her ears and tongue are pierced.

Jasmine sometimes wears eyeglasses, and squints really bad if not.
