The Disappearance of Violet Benjamin

28 year old Violet Benjamin was last seen in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood on February 28, 2026. She left the apartment that she shares with her boyfriend overnight, and hasn’t been seen since.

Disappearance

In the early morning hours of February 28, 2026, Violet Benjamin left her home in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. She never returned home, and hasn’t been heard from since.

Her boyfriend who she lives with contacted her father later that morning, who flew from California to Seattle to begin searching.

Her father believes she may still be in the Ballard or Fremont area, since multiple possible sightings have been reported. He says she’s previously experienced mental health challenges and may be confused.

Violet did not have her phone, medication, or money with her when she went missing.

Investigation

Clothing believed to belong to Violet was found near the docks close to the Ballard PCC shortly after she went missing. The clothing was wet, and included her pants, shirts and sports bra. Her coat was missing.

Surveillance video captured Violet walking near the Ballard PCC Community Markets after she went missing, located at 1451 NW 46th Street, fully clothed and carrying a jacket.

On March 3, 2026, Violet’s license was found in a parking lot at 1143 NW 45th Street, close to PCC Ballard where Violet used to work.

Violet’s family has set up a website, FindViolet.com, and is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to her location.

Appearance

Violet has brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5’10 tall and has a slim build. She has several tattoos including barbed wire across her collarbone and a snake on her left arm.

Clothing & Accessories:
She often wears dark clothing, layered necklaces, and black combat boots. Violet had a backpack with her when she left home, along with a teddy bear she keeps with her when she’s stressed.
